Booking & Booking Deposit

By placing a booking with us (the property owner / his/her representative) you (HEADBOOKER) agree to the following terms and conditions.
During your stay you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions.
If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking.
To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 18 years. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. (max. 12 people in the whole house)
Where the person making the booking differs from the person visiting us, the person making the booking may be held responsible for any cancellation, damages or charges.

B&B: To guarantee a reservation, we ask you to pay a deposit after booking. This deposit amount is 25% of the full booking. at least 8 days before arrival we ask for the balance to be paid. For stays longer than 4 days or stays with 3 rooms or more, we ask that the remaining booking is paid 12 days before arrival.
If we have not received the full booking amount according to these conditions, we reserve the right to release the room.

Holiday home: To guarantee a reservation, please pay 25% of the total amount after booking.
The balance including a deposit must be paid by bank transfer at least 30 days before arrival.
If we have not received the full booking amount according to these conditions, we reserve the right to release the holiday home.

Payments can be made by digital bank transfer. Or via 1 of our partners.
The IBAN in Spain is ES06 0081 1059 4100 0128 4934, attn. Toon Rosalie J. Vos. Please state your reservation number.

Check-in & Check-out

Guests can check-in and check-out by the times stated below;
Check-in: from 3:30pm (or in consultation)
Check-out: latest 11:00am on day of departure

Guests for the holiday home can check in and out at the following times:
Check in: from 4:00pm
Check out: no later than 10:00am on the day of departure

Cancellation conditions

Cancellation B&B: 3 days or more before the arrival date = full deposit return

Cancellation of B&B for stays longer than 4 days or stays with 3 rooms or more: less than 8 days before the arrival date = no refunds, in full reservation amount due

Cancellation B&B: less than 3 days before arrival date = no refunds, in full reservation amount due

Cancellation Holiday Home:

If you cancel:

- up to 7 days after the booking date, you are entitled to a full refund of the deposit, if the booking is made at least 37 days before arrival.

- between 7 days after the booking date and 120 days before arrival you pay 25% of the travel sum.

- between 120 and 60 days before arrival you pay 50% of the travel sum.

- between 60 and 37 days before arrival you pay 75% of the travel sum.

- within 37 days before the arrival date you pay 100% of the travel sum.

It is recommended that booking guest take out appropriate holiday / cancelation insurance if required.

In the rare event that we have to cancel your booking with us, please note that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of payments already made.

WiFi

Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access to the Internet fairly and appropriately.

The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is not prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

Damages & Lost Property

We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by the headbooker or any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimize damage and associated costs.

Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key lost.

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. We may offer to post lost items at the cost of the owner.

Smoking

Smoking of any (electronic) tobacco products, cigarettes, pipes, cigars, is not allowed in the accommodation and is in accordance with the Health Act 2006.

Silence period

Please respect the silence period between 23:00 hour and 8:00 hour.

Pets

We are animal lovers but cannot accept pets in our entire accommodation due to hygiene and allergy reasons.
If, deviating from this rule, pets are brought anyway, we reserve the right to charge a compensation equal to 2 times the deposit.
If no deposit has been paid, we will charge a compensation of 800 euros.

Parking

Where on-site parking is provided guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Your Personal Details & Privacy

We are required to keep a register of guests over the age of 18 who stay with us, this includes full

names and nationality, and/or passport numbers, place of issue. This is in accordance with the (Immigration (Hotel records) Order 1972). These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months and in accordance with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) [which comes into force in May 2018].

Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or enquiry through this website / or third party website, including the privacy of those details are explained and set out in our Privacy Policy which you can read here.

We collect the following information you provide us with directly:

Your first and last name;

Your email address

Communications between you and Casa Pura Vida (e.g., we may send you Service-related emails);

We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service. This log file information may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address, browser  type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

We do not rent or sell your data to third parties outside Casa Pura Vida.

Our right to cancel/withhold deposit

All guests agree to the respect and privacy and tranquility of all other guests, neighbors and owners at all time. We reserve the right to make a booking with immediate effect and without it cancel refund if guests fail to comply with this agreement or other guests, neighbors or the owners cause inconvenience.

If our terms and conditions are not observed, we reserve the right to:

  • If a deposit has been paid, this must be withheld in full, as well as the full travel sum in case the trip cannot be completed.

  • If no deposit has been paid, a compensation of 400 euros per violation will be charged, as well as the full travel sum in case the trip cannot be completed.

Liability

Casa Pura Vida is not liable for theft, loss of personal property and personal injury of the tenant.
